A-Z Challenge Interupted

As our A-Z Challenge Road Trip theme (I had a theme??) reached Ohio,  and we were at our Home away from home we took a long break. We slept, we eat,  slept a lot more, while out of our windows, winter continued on. In between we did some math and some English, also watched some American TV shows, which in the beginning I thought was just hilarious. The price was right? All that judge thingies. Oh man! But we also get to see Kate Middleton married her prince, Oprah final episodes, and watching Hailey Reinhart and Casey Abrams of the American Idol. These are the memorable ones of TV moments. Our next installment of A-Z April Challenge will highlight where we journeyed and what we did in Ohio, and USA, perhaps more in random order then in sequence. We will see.

I shall write for the letter "I:" in real time event. Here, today, 10th April, 2013, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the country is  getting ready for the 13th General Election that will be held on 5th of May, 2013. Meanwhile, Digi is wondering if the North Korean missiles could reached Malaysia. He is also worried about the Bird Flu in China. "Would my chicken be save to eat, mum?"  "I guess so." I don't have better answer that he didn't already know or can search himself for answers. In the present Google era, mum is for seeking opinion and ancient family hand down unwritten knowledge, not for the academic ones. To make matters worse, last night we went to see "Dirt the Movie" with a group of friends. But then we had a great discussion on environment, and took note of each other's activities for further collaborative works. And if you have time, watching this One Man, One Cow, One Planet could get you inspired to be one of the guardians of our planet earth.

All alone in the train (we live not too far from a train terminal)

I'm also going to take this opportunity to thank our visitors, and more thank you for the thoughtful comments you left us. And to our new members we welcome you with our heart. We have a saying in Malay:

"Kecil tapak tangan
Nyiru saya tadahkan"

"If my hands were too small to hold the gratitude I feel
I'll hold up this nyiru instead, to accept your generosity."

Digital learning how to use a nyiru to separate rice from husks,
throw it up, let the wind blows away the empty husks.

and catch back the cleaned rice in the nyiru, repeat!

And most of all thank you to the A-Z team for organizing such a gathering of bloggers. I've found so many new awesome interesting pages. My list for impressive and interesting blogs thus far includes:

The Kuantan Blog
Aristotle's Mistake
Kids Math Teacher
Trisha Leaver
Sonnia J Kemmer - Author
Blackbird in my window
My life as Lynn Proctor
Destination Unknown
Just Ermie
No Thought 2 small

And of course the cheering team blog: Blogging from A-Z April Challenge April 2013

With that dear readers, hope you have a good "I " day, and continue to stay inspired.

Note: Nyiru is a round tray made of woven bamboo.
